Director General, NAEM obtained B. Sc (Hon's) and M. Sc. in Mathematics from Rajshahi University in 1974 and 1975 respectively. She obtained her Ph. D. in 1994. She joined Bangladesh Civil Service (General Education) Cadre as a Lecturer in Dinajpur Government College in 1982. She served as head of Dept. of Mathematics in different Govt. Colleges. She was a Principal of Dinajpur Govt. College and Dinajpur Government Woman's College, Dinajpur. She received Computer Training from NACTAR, Bogra. She participated in many national and international seminars and workshops. She got national level Best Teacher Gold Medal Award.

Prof. Bilkis Ara Begum,
is serving as Director (Administration and Finance) at NAEM. She completed B.A (Hons) and M.A in Economics from Dhaka University. She did research work on "International Trade" Then she joined Bangladesh Civil service (General Education) Cadre (B.C.S) as a lecturer in 1981. For last more than 25 years she taught Economics up to post graduate level in different university colleges of Bangladesh. She worked as part time Tutor of Bangladesh Open University and ICAB (Institute of Chartered Accountant of Bangladesh.).She is life member of Bangladesh Economics Association, Dhaka University Economics Department Alumnae Association and Bangladesh Economics Department Teachers Association. She was member of executive committee of Dhaka University Economics Department Alumnae Association. She received subject wise higher training and also training on " Management and Educational Planning". She visited many countries like U.K, U.S.A, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, Italy, Hungary, Spain, New Zealand, some countries of South East Asia and India. Attended a 3 days International Seminar on "Migration and Development" from 29th-31st December 2007, which was held in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt.
